Lesson Plan P 5 & 6

Basic Plan all Periods
  1. 10 min - Daily Touch typing on Typing Agent (10 min) - TA or NitroType Games on Fri.
  2. 4 min - Check email & CHECK THE LESSON PLANS on Class Blog.
  3. 5 min - What’s Up Post - Review your week or write about your plans for the weekend!
  4. 4 min - Preview the day’s activities with class -
    1. P5, & 6 - Project Identification Tag - Students are designing an ID tag for their backpack.  They are almost done.  Click on this link to see the final checks before signing up to get the project checked by Mr. Garcia.  Mrs. Polanco can play this on the TV is she would like the whole class to see together.
      1. If you finish, work on the Scavenger Hunt.  Link is on the class blog
      2. You can also do any of the DIY projects below in the DIY section
    2. P4 - SSR - You can keep working on your projects.  Click on the this link to see the final checks before you sign up.  You will be doing this during SSR time unless you are finished.

    3. 35 min - Work on projects - detailed above
    4. Guest teacher - Students may be collaborating which is encouraged.  Or, they may be just visiting so you will need to move around the classroom and listen into conversations.  THIS IS CRUCIAL FOR GOOD CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT!!!!!
  5. Done with Project - Students can do these activities when complete with project and posting on their blog

  1. 1 min - Shutting down, logging out, & dismissal - I make all student wait at stations till all headphones, tables, and chairs are neatly arranged.  I excuse one row at a time.   Do not excuse students until workspaces are clean.

Please stand outside of classroom to monitor students in the passageway.  Keep them off the rail!
