Our local Skoolcade Game Development Challenge will be happening this week. Those of you who help score games will be earning credit for a class project. I appreciate your help.

Monday - Presidents' Holiday
Tuesday - Last day to make adjustments - Let me know today if your game is finished or not. If done, I will push forward them to our Rio Vista Game Judges.
They will play your game and score according to this rubric. On Friday, I will tally the votes and announce the winner of the Rio Vista Skoolcade Game Dev Challenge.
The 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place games will be entered in the 7th Annual Skoolcade Student Video Game Challenge to be held at Rio Vista on March 4th, 2023.
All Rio Vista Game Designers are invited to attend the event and have some fun.
Wednesday - Game Dev Research - make any tweaks to your game.
During the rest of this week, please listen to the 2 reports regarding Video Games & game development careers & programs. There will be a follow-up activity to both podcasts.

Presentation Opportunity - I am looking for a group of Robotics students to present their favorite robot built, so far, at Skoolcade on March 4th. Volunteers will build, demonstrate, & interact with students & adults at the event. You will get free food, get some swag, get to play some incredible video games, & have a chance to win some cool prizes. Thanks for considering this. You will get some extra credit for attending.
