Lesson Plan for Today

Class,
Sorry for being out today, I needed to go on a field trip with my daughter. You'll have Mrs. Peraza Garcia as a guest teacher today. Do your best to finish prior projects and start your new ones today. I'll see you tomorrow.
Mr. G

Basic Plan all Periods
  1. 10 min - Daily Touch typing on Typing Agent (10 min) - TA or NitroType Games on Fri.
  2. 4 min - Check email & CHECK THE LESSON PLANS.
  3. 4 min - Preview the day’s activities with class -
    1. P2, 5, & 6 - Monday
      1. Students are finishing Laptop case ID Post on blog.  Once done, they are working on designing a racecar with rolling wheels.  Here is the screencast to help get started.
    2. P4 Monday
      1. Finish Earbud holder.  If you think you are close to being done, look over the following things that are the first things I will look at:
        1. Is it artistic (not a box or oval with a name)
        2. Is it flat on the bed
        3. What size is it (Know the measurements and about how big in will be in your hand)
        4. Will it do what you want it to do?
      2. Done with Earbud, Keep working on your Video Game
      3. Film crew - get some editing done on the video you started yesterday.
      4. Road rally crew - need a poster - Date to be determined later this week
      5. SALT - Parent forms are on my desk - Scripts are coming tomorrow
      6. Aerial art - get a letter to ASB ready to send out.  Share it with me so I can review it before sending out.
      7. 35 min - Work on projects - detailed above
    3. Guest teacher - Students may be collaborating which is encouraged.  Or, they maybe just visiting so you will need to move around the classroom and listen into conversations.  THIS IS CRUCIAL FOR GOOD CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT!!!!!
  4. Done with Project - Students can do these activities when complete with project
    1. DIY Jobs - listed on tv, at the end of this lesson plan, on blog
  5. 1 min - Shutting down & logging out - I make all student wait at stations till all headphones, tables, and chairs are neatly arranged.  I excuse one row at a time.   Do not excuse students until workspaces are clean.

Please stand outside of classroom to monitor students in the passageway.  Keep them off the rail!

Make it a great day people!  I’ll see you Thursday.  Mr. G
