  •     Test the mounting of your servo to make sure the mount does not move.
  •     Test the placement of your microbit and the battery to hide or add visual interest
  •     Test the code, especially related to the movement of the servo the full 180 degrees
  • Review painting procedures

Paper Plane Building Activity

Click the image below to start understanding how things fly!  


Your goal for the week is to create 3 of the airplanes in the video.  There is a total of 4 planes, and the directions for 3 of them are included.  Pause the video when needed, and you can work with a partner.

You can test them in class in the Manufacturing Isle betweeen the 2 doors and windows.  Make adjustments to your airplane controls.  

On Friday, you will show me your airplanes and test them together with me.

Make sure to:
  1. Write your name on your airplane
  2. Do not leave it lying around the floor, PICK THEM UP - Use only one paper for each airplane
  3. Collect them in one area of the classroom in a plastic bag so you can show them to me
  4. When folding, make sure to fold the edges very tight, nothing loose
  5. If you have time, you can decorate your plane
  6. DO NOT TAKE THE PLANES OUTSIDE!!!
