It's getting close to summer time! We are wrapping up all of your projects.
Last day to turn in late work for a grade is 6/9 for Computer Science, Robotics, Science & ELD
Student Computers will stop going home starting Monday. If you need to take it home, talk to your Homeroom teacher to make special arrangements.
Positive Behavior Field trips are coming up. Make sure any work you need to finish is taken care of before your field trip.

8th grade promotion practice starts on 6/9. The 8th grade BBQ is on 6/

Level 0 - robot can move but does not identify the rink and drives off the side
Level 1 - robot can identify the rink and stay in
Level 2 - robot can stay in the rink and maneuver in the rink
Level 3 - robot stays in the rink, can maneuver, and looks for objects in the rink
Level 4 - robot stays in the rink, can maneuver, looks for objects in the rink, and makes a move towards that other object
Drone Challenge Flight Plan 3
Level 0 - drone takes off but does not stay on course
Level 1 - drone stays on course but does not complete the course
Level 2 - drone completes most of the course
Level 3 - drone completes the course
Level 4 - drone completes the course with precise movement and speed
Robotic Car
In your portfolio, give examples of each movement the app uses and what application that may have in a working robot. Use video to demonstrate the specific movement. (A working robot is a robot that accomplishes tasks in the working world)

Drones - You are working on Flight Plan 3. Make sure you look at the instructions located here. Students will be walking around, designing and flying their drones for the obstacle course. Before flying, have them walk through the code and the measurements with you to verify what the drone should be doing. They have a process to follow before flying, stay safe.
Robotic Car - Keep building and get that thing running. Start to understand how to program it and drive it using their app
