As the temperature starts to cool, we, in the Tech Lab, are heating up as we work on finishing our projects. Each class has an assignment that you can find below. Have a great week and enjoy looking up at our beautiful evening skies!
Periods 2, 4, & 5 - 3D Design - Continue working on either your ornament or your container with a lid or covering. You will have all week to work on it but the pressure is on to get a working prototype printed before we leave on break.
In addition to printing, we now have paints that you can use to customize your object. See me ASAP to get your design printed.
December Project - Do one of the following project and include the blog post for the one you created.
1. Ornament - Create an ornament to decorate your tree. The ornament must have a connection to your family, a connector for an ornament hook, and be a unique design. Size may vary but is determined by its application.
2. Container with cover(lid) - Create a container that can hold something inside. It must have a cover or lid. The size will be determined by the contents of the container.
Create a blog post explaining and reflecting on your design journey. Include an explanation of the project, a description of how you created the design, and a reflection about how it came out. Also include 2 pictures, one screenshot from Tinkercad & one of the finished print.
Check with Mr. G along the development path. I can verify whether the design is ready to print. After printing, finish smoothing the design and you have the option to paint it for added effect.

Sumo Drone | Ask me about learning how to access and use our rolling and flying drones. |
Period 6 & 7 - You will start working in Project stem this week. On the menu will be building an animation in Scratch using your name. You will enjoy being able to learn coding in Scratch while creating something very unique for yourself. But before that, let's learn about what Computer Science is all about.
