Paper Plane Building Activity
Click the image below to start understanding how things fly!
Your goal for the week is to create 3 of the airplanes in the video. There is a total of 4 planes, and the directions for 3 of them are included. Pause the video when needed, and you can work with a partner.
You can test them in class in the Manufacturing Isle betweeen the 2 doors and windows. Make adjustments to your airplane controls.
On Friday, you will show me your airplanes and test them together with me.
Make sure to:
- Write your name on your airplane
- Do not leave it lying around the floor, PICK THEM UP - Use only one paper for each airplane
- Collect them in one area of the classroom in a plastic bag so you can show them to me
- When folding, make sure to fold the edges very tight, nothing loose
- If you have time, you can decorate your plane
- DO NOT TAKE THE PLANES OUTSIDE!!!
