Rio Vista Computer Science, Robotics, ELD, & Science Week 8/26 - 30/2024

Hello Everyone!

Welcome & welcome back to Rio Vista!

I hope you all had a wonderful summer break.  

This week will be about getting each class started.  We will start practicing our year-long routines and responsibilities.  We'll find out more about each other in a survey we will complete after getting our Chromebooks.

But first, let's have fun with space and cyber!

Period 2 Robotics

Monday - Morning Routine

Task - start setting up all desktops and laptops

1. gather all peripherals (keyboard, mouse, hdmi cables, power adaptors, battery chargers)
2. connect all peripherals
3. power up the device
4. check for updates (Windows first then Google Chrome)
5. Clear folders - (temp, docs, pictures(screenshot), downloads)
6. clean up all cables to make as neat and clean as possible

Second year students please assist first year students.
